How Did we get Here
College Consultants Care was formed as the result of a conversation between two friends. Founder Wendy Briley was talking with a longtime friend that had been diagnosed with cancer. One of her friend’s fellow support group members’ wish was to have someone assist her son through the college application process in case she was no longer living. Wendy agreed to take on that client pro bono and an idea was hatched. As a member of a professional organization which consists of over 2000 Independent Educational Consultants, Wendy realized that there was an opportunity to match Independent Educational Consultants across the country with students affected by cancer with free college application assistance.
Meet Our Team
Wendy has a private Independent Educational Consulting practice in North Carolina. She is also a member of the Independent Educational Consulting Association. It is Wendy’s intent for College Consultants Care to provide FREE college application assistance to students diagnosed with cancer or have a parent diagnosed with cancer.
Glenn currently serves as Senior Field Medical Director, Beigene, a Pharmaceutical company focusing on Oncology. Early in his career, Dr. Briley served as an Assistant Professor at the State University of Georgia and was an advisor to students seeking admittance into Medical School.
Bob served in the US Army for over 27 years and retired with the rank of Colonel. After serving in the military, Bob pursued a career in the Financial industry. Before retiring from that industry, Bob was Vice President and Branch Office Manager for Stephens, Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Beth is a dynamic, results-driven professional with diverse experience including customer service, project management and account management in the tech industry. Demonstrated ability to cultivate and grow client relationships, provide meaningful analytical insights and work with a variety of teams to ensure client satisfaction. She also brings experience from working in the non-profit world.
